Monetary Donations
In its first year of operation as a Nebraska nonprofit, LYS embarked on a fundraising campaign, Say Yes to Live Yes, with a goal to raise $785,000 over the first five years of operations to build a stable foundation and invest in our growing future. Within our two fiscal years, LYS raised over $439,000 for operational support, vehicles, equipment, and renovations to our new studio space and have $346,000 left to raise to meet our goal.
With your support, we can continue to raise wages, buy new equipment, expand programming and continue to offer the disability community opportunities to accomplish their creative goals, present their work and build community through a shared language of art.
When you Say Yes to Live Yes, you acknowledge our artists’ ideas, talents and creative works are fundamentally valuable and necessary within our local community. Your support for this campaign, no matter the amount, ensures we can continue to provide fine and performing arts instruction for Lincoln’s disability community. From all of us at LYS, thank you.
